As the Founder and Medical Director of La Jolla IVF, he has helped individuals and couples from over 97 countries achieve their dreams of parenthood, completing more than 6,000 gestational surrogate cycles, 5,000 egg donation cycles, and 4,000 combined cycles.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Smotrich is deeply committed to global healthcare initiatives. He has traveled to Uganda twice to assist in the construction of a hospital and maternity center at Bishop Usilies Hospital, where he provided fertility evaluations and treatments for women in rural communities.
