Meet Dr. Chole Roumain, Co-Founder of Tripod Fertility.
Dr. Roumain attended Union College, in Schenectady NY where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology and a minor in Spanish, followed by a doctorate of Medicine at McGill University in Montreal. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) at the University of Montreal where she also specialized in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). Dr. Roumain knew early on that she wanted to study medicine. It offers the ideal combination of intellectual challenges, medical, surgical and radiological competence while serving the population of her choice, through the fieldâs constant medical advancements, as well its personal fit given its ethical and human challenges.
I am deeply passionate about finding meaningful and sustainable ways to give back to my native Haiti, building on past work through education and training initiatives with the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC). As a devoted mother of four young children, I value and actively protect a workâlife balance that allows me to be fully present for my family.

Through the SOGCâs International Womenâs Health Program, Dr. Roumain travelled to Haiti regularly with her husband, to educate and train health professionals and medical students on the international standards of maternal and perinatal health. She is fluent in English, French and Creole, and functional in Spanish.
